Complaints procedure

You can file a complaint about the conduct of the police or employees of the prosecution service with the Police Complaints Authority.

You can also file a report with the Police Complaints Authority if you believe that the police or employees of the prosecution service have violated the law and thereby committed a criminal offence.

The procedure in a case depends on whether it is a report of a criminal offence or a complaint about the conduct of the employee.
